October 24 was World Polio Day. A day that is still needed, because worldwide the fight with this terrible disease is still not completely over.
That is why action was taken that morning on the Grote Markt in Sint-Niklaas. At a striking red caravan, representatives of various Rotary Clubs from the region asked for continued attention.
In Belgium, every child is vaccinated against polio. But unfortunately, this is far from being the case everywhere in the world.
